As you might have already been informed, Delft University of Technology has recently established a new Institute for Process Technology. In the coming years the Institute, currently comprising 14 full-time Chairs in 3 Departments, will focus on the multidisciplinary research in three areas: Biochemical Process Engineering, Process Intensification and Process Technology for Advanced Materials. To mark the launch of the new Institute a one-day scientific conference entitled

“Process Technology for the Future World: Building Bridges Across Own Boundaries” 

will be held in Delft on Friday, 2 March 2012. The leitmotif of the conference will be the role of multidisciplinary research in advancing the progress in process technology. We expect to offer the conference participants an interesting scientific program with inspiring lectures by invited international speakers from academia and industry.
